An interesting fact is the legend that explains the spectacular appearance of the Star of Bethlehem. It tells the story of a Mexican girl who wanted to give a gift to the newborn Jesus. Being poor, she picked plants growing by the road and placed a modest bouquet in front of the altar. At night, the leaves turned a beautiful red color and became the symbol of the Star of Bethlehem.
